Yes, your (or your authorized agent) presence is necessary so that we can place the containers exactly where you want them (it is recommended that you reserve the space desired and ensure that clearance requirements are met). Our driver will also deliver a Box-n-Go welcome package, demonstrate you the features of your containers, and have you sign the rental agreement.
If you cannot be home for the delivery, you can authorize someone else to accept the containers. Just inform your sales consultant when you place your order or contact customer service in advance of your delivery date. We will add that individual as an Authorized Agent on your account for container delivery. Please make sure to have your phone on, so that we are able to contact you.
In cases of emergency we are able to deliver the empty units without the customer presence, provided you sign the appropriate paperwork, prepay your first month and delivery fees prior to delivery. Just be sure you provide specific delivery instructions to our sales consultant. If you are unable to sign the rental agreement ahead of your delivery, all applicable paperwork will be left for you inside the container, which you will need to sign and return to us.
You do not need to be present for the pick up, unless your unit is behind the gate or the access to the unit is blocked.
